MANUFACTURING / QUALITY CONTROL

Manufacturing & Quality Control

For custom combat sports equipment, quality control starts with a model-specific production basis. EVB aligns drawings or reference samples, BOMs, appearance, function, branding and packing requirements before production, then confirms the applicable first-article, in-process and final checks for the product and order.

BUILD THE CONTROL PLAN AROUND THE PRODUCT

Define what must match before production begins.

A boxing ring frame, a sewn glove and a filled punching bag do not share one generic inspection checklist. The control points follow the selected model, its construction, intended use and the buyer-approved production basis.

The brief can identify the drawing or sample, materials, dimensions, interfaces, artwork, packing and documentation that matter for quotation, sample review and production. Review our OEM / Private Label options or explore product categories.

PRODUCT-SPECIFIC CONTROLS

Hard goods and soft goods need different checkpoints.

The examples below describe documented process controls that may be used for relevant product types. Exact checks and records are confirmed for the product and order.

Metal structures & hardware

Drawings and BOMs can guide material, dimensions, interfaces and components. Relevant first-article and in-process checks can cover appearance, structure, dimensions, fit and model-specific function.

Sewn & filled products

Controls can cover approved material and color, artwork position, cutting, stitch condition, weight and final appearance. Printed surfaces can use agreed color references and adhesion checks. Filled products can also include metal detection before and after filling where applicable.

CONTROL POINTS

From approved basis to final packing

01 · Confirm the production basis

Align the model, drawing or approved sample, BOM, dimensions, materials, artwork, functional requirements, included parts, labels and packing.

02 · First article & in-process

Where applicable to the product and order, first-article checks can be completed before production proceeds. Defined in-process checks can record relevant appearance, dimensions or performance at defined intervals, with nonconforming work isolated and reviewed.

03 · Final review & release

Applicable final checks can cover agreed appearance, dimensions, fit or assembly, included parts, labels and packing. Documentation scope is confirmed per product and order.

TOOLS AND TEST METHODS

Use methods relevant to the product and order.

DIMENSIONS / FIT

Measurement & interface checks

Calipers, micrometers, reference drawings and approved samples can support applicable dimensional, hole, interface and fit checks.

MATERIALS / SURFACE

Selected material evaluations

Relevant evaluations may use equipment types such as tensile, abrasion, salt-spray, environmental or UV-aging equipment, subject to confirmation for the product and order.

PRODUCT-SPECIFIC

Function, impact & foreign-object controls

Depending on the product, checks can include bag-impact testing, print-adhesion checks, metal detection for filled products and model-specific functional review.

BUYER QUESTIONS

What to confirm before you compare suppliers.

QUESTION 01

Is one QC plan used for every product?

No. The checkpoints follow the selected model, construction, intended use, approved sample or drawing and order requirements.

QUESTION 02

What can be confirmed before production?

Materials, dimensions, interfaces, artwork, color references, function, included parts, labels, packing and required records can be aligned in the production brief.

QUESTION 03

Can inspection documents be supplied?

Documentation scope is confirmed per product and order. Share report, test or third-party inspection requirements in the RFQ so availability and scope can be assessed before quotation.

NEXT STEP

Define the checks that matter to your product.

Share the product category, model or drawing, intended use, quantity range, destination, target date and any inspection or documentation requirements. We will confirm what can be included in the production brief and quotation.
